Climate Action

Accelerating Our Decarbonisation Path

Climate change represents both a global challenge and a material business consideration. For Multiversity, climate action is fully integrated into our governance framework, operational management and long-term strategy. Our digital education model structurally reduces environmental impact compared to traditional campus-intensive systems, particularly in relation to commuting and physical infrastructure. At the same time, we actively manage and reduce our operational footprint through a structured, science-based approach.

Our environmental strategy is aligned with the Paris Agreement, informed by CSRD principles and structured in accordance with the GHG Protocol and GRI Standards.

In 2025, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) formally validated our near-term greenhouse gas reduction targets. By 2030 (vs. 2023 baseline), we commit to: –42% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions –25% absolute reduction in Scope 3 emissions These commitments reinforce the credibility and ambition of our decarbonisation pathway. The Group has progressively increased the share of electricity sourced from renewables and conducted energy audits in 2025 at two of its most energy-intensive sites, identifying targeted actions to reduce electricity and natural gas consumption. In 2025, Multiversity joined the UN Global Compact Climate Ambition Accelerator, strengthening internal capabilities in carbon footprint measurement and SBTi target setting
